La Sorella

I have been to La Sorella many, many times. I am impressed each time I come here. The atmosphere is chic. It’s so pretty here. The food is outstanding .. every time I try something different and am never disappointed. The staff is lovely! My sister recommends the pistachio capuchino. “This is so good, I feel like crying.” Will continue to come back :D

I attended a wedding rehearsal dinner at La Sorella. The restaurant prepared an off the menu dinner course for a party of about 30 people. The antipasti were plentiful and delicious. The pasta dishes were also very generous in portion size and very tasty. Lastly, the dinner finished with perfectly cooked grilled salmon and roast pork. The service was courteous and efficient. The restaurant is spacious and a pleasing atmosphere.

La Sorella is a GEM in Fishkill! The layout of the space is great- order your food, take a seat, and enjoy the lovely atmosphere. You can sit here with friends or do your work, either is perfect for this environment. The food was magnificent and tasty, and I loved the pastries. I will definitely be back!

This was my third visit. To start off, the atmosphere is beautiful. It is a cozy cafe that makes you want to enjoy a warm cup of tea alongside a long conversation with a friend. The food is good with subtle but tasty flavors. Highly recommend.

I love heading to La Sorella for pastries and coffees. I’ve never had their menu food, but have enjoyed every coffee and pastry I’ve had from here. Also really enjoy the vibe and design of La Sorella.

First time here and it feels like I’m walking into a European cafe. So much light and openness. Very uplifting, classy environment. The staff are attentively standing around in their white coats waiting to help. You order yourself up at the counter and then they will bring you your order if you’re staying. I was on the move so got mine to go: cold brew coffee and an almond croissant. The coffee was good and I like that they have the lids that don’t require straws. The almond croissant was good, but a little dry, so not great. I don’t know, maybe if I had eaten in they would have warmed it up and it would have been better. Definitely a place to check out and a place I’m heading back to for more of their offerings. Update 10/9/24 - so I went back and this time with a friend who travels the world and he says no, this isn’t like a classic Italian cafe, it’s like an NYC cafe, so I stand corrected. We got egg sandwiches, which were okay, but nothing exceptional and a bit skimpy. I also got another almond croissant and unfortunately they didn’t heat it up. When I asked a waiter if there was someone to whom I could offer a friendly suggestion, he said to tell him. So I made the suggestion that when someone orders a baked good to dine in that they ask if you would like it warmed up. To my surprise he said, “oh we do that, you should have asked”. To which I replied, “if you do that, it would be nice if you offered to do it since I would have no way of knowing.” So I’m bumping down my service rating. We’ll see what it’s like the next time.
